Sydhavnen, one of the new, upcoming neighbourhoods on the Copenhagen map. The area is right next to the green area AMAGER F\u00c6LLED and Amager Naturpark which has a lot of animal life. Pass&nbsp; the canal&nbsp; by the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/mapio.net\/pic\/p-28637345\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">lock nearby<\/a>&nbsp;(click on link) and you are in the middle of the nature. Also you can enjoy animal life and nature at the very popular area&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.sydhavnstippen.dk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">SYDHAVNSTIPPEN<\/a>&nbsp;where you will can say hello to Alpacas and lambs.<\/p>\n<h6>TIP \u2013 best nature walking path to the center of Copenhagen<\/h6>\n<p>If you go to the top of the hill right after the lock you can enjoy the view and let the installations guide you through the circles (picture below). This place is also great for watching the sunset over Copenhagen.<\/p>\n<p>If you follow the walking path along the water it will lead you to another very urban and hip area ISLANDS BRYGGE which is worth a visit with lots of life, bars, cafes. It\u2019s only 500 m from the central place of Copenhagen and Tivoli, so I recommend you to take this stroll if you like to walk your way back to the city center.<\/p>\n<p>The pier on the picture above can be seen from our house \u2013 straight opposite nearby the iconic building&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.arkitekturbilleder.dk\/bygning\/metropolis\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Metropolis.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>If you follow the path (on the Amager-side of the canal) all the way to the centre, you will pass by a lot of lovely places like this (bring your swimming suit and jump in if you like!)<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section Also a great place for remote working.<\/p><p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.wildhorsescph.dk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Wild Horse<\/a>\u00a0\u2013 my new favorite place in Borgbjergsvej 1 \u2013 great coffee and amazing yoghurt<\/p><p><a href=\"https:\/\/southharbourcafe.dk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">South Habour cafe <\/a>\u2013 very close to Sydhavn Station you find the cosy cafe with great Marroccan food and room for both outside and inside seating.\u00a0<\/p><p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.kahytogkaffe.dk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Kahyt and Kaffe<\/a>\u00a0&#8211; a MUST visit. It has the best view over the Harbour and outside seating. It\u2019s very popular and especially during the summers its often very crowed, but the vibe is amazing. Then you need to dip in the crystal clear water of Copenhagen Harbour.<\/p>\n<p>During summer the harbour pools are open (with lifeguards), but you can swim all year around almost everywhere in this area \u2013 it is rather unique for a capital to have water in the harbour clean enough to swim in \u2013 you can even fish from the Harbour (I think you need some kind of license to do it, though)<\/p>\n<p>We are swimming right outside the house, but you can visit the free swimming zones everywhere in the area.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Actually you are only allowed to swim the official marked areas, but people are dipping everywhere. There are a hundred of amazing sunrise spots and almost every morning I enjoy the colors of sunrise &#8211; the below pictures are taken outside our house at different times of the year.
